I am the speech-language pathologist at Old Fort Elementary. I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's degree in English, University of Southern Mississippi with a Masters of Science in Audiology, and Mississippi University for Women in Speech-Language Pathology.
This is my second year at Old Fort Elementary as the speech language pathologist. Some of the duties here include: speech, language and hearing screens. Evaluations for speech and/or language disorders, difficulty with pragmatics of language (social aspects of language), fluency of speech (stuttering), voice problems, and other difficulties a student may have that is related to speech, language, and/or hearing difficulties.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family: husband, Fred, and our three children. We love to camp, hike, ride bikes, and just about anything else outdoors.
