My name is Taylor Bartlett and I am a kindergarten teacher at Old Fort Elementary School. This is my sixth year of teaching at Old Fort. I have taught fourth grade, second grade, first grade, and Kindergarten.
I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in 2012. My classroom is decorated in black and gold as a symbol of my Alma Mater. Go Mountaineers!
I decided to become a teacher because I love children and I want to help students become better learners. It is so rewarding to see their faces light up when they have mastered a skill. The satisfaction on their faces is simply indescribable. I take my career seriously and I am totally here for the students. They make a bad day a good day and a stressful day a fun day. I am so blessed to be able to be apart of the students' lives and for that I am truly grateful!

Looking forward to the 2017-2018 school year. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
